Just Kids is the latest plan that Verizon Wireless added alongside their Unlimited plans. We had to create a lot of end to end user flows of how the experience would look like when a user signs up for the plan. There were some new business rules that were added because of this plan and we had to account for them. Two of the rules include that the Account Owner could not have Just Kids and must be on an Unlimited plan and that you must choose a "Parent" for the line that chooses Just Kids. In the images, you'll see those two rules in effect. Working with a team, I created 18 flows all together.

By request, I can send working prototypes of these user flows. Please send an email to zabita.m@gmail.com

This project was called Cost Clarifier. The business wanted to show existing customers multiple sets of numbers during the sales flow while they are upgrading or adding a new line. Here is what they wanted to show:

  1. Current Bill - This is what the customer current pays as their monthly bill.

  2. Estimated New Bill - This is what the customer could be paying if they were to add a new phone.

  3. Estimated Today - How much the customer has to pay at the end of the transaction.

  4. Estimated Monthly - How much more the customer will be paying per month on their bill.

  5. An Overlay - It gives a bigger breakdown between the Current and Estimated New Bill

So we had quite the challenge on this one. Working with a UX Designer, he had thought of the toggle idea so the customer could switch back and forth between the information. At the beginning I found the toggle to be a little troublesome but in the end, it was the best solution to our problems when trying to show all of the necessary information. We started working on mobile web first because we had very little real estate to work with. In the GIF above is the end product. I designed it in Sketch but used a program called Principle for the animations. It made it easier for our IT partners to visualize what it’s suppose to look like.

Apple music promotion for verizon wireless

AM-D-1.png

Verizon teamed up with Apple to promote Apple Music. Customers who had an unlimited plan were offered 6 months free of Apple Music. I was tasked with creating the experience for users to sign up on the Verizon Wireless website for both desktop and mobile.

This first screen is when a user is logged in on the Products & Apps page. A user can click on the Get Apple Music CTA to sign up a member on their account.

An account owner can then select which member on their account they want to sign up for Apple Music. Usually, when a account owner wants to sign up for a product or app on their account, they can add multiple members at one time. But there was a business rule for Apple music where only one member can be signed up at a time. I had to find a way to make it as easy possible for the account owner to sign up one member then seamlessly sign up another.

In this instance, we will be signing up Dale for Apple Music.

So now Dale has a few options:

  1. He can pick a different line which will bring him back to the previous page to select another user.

  2. He can cancel the entire transaction and will be brought back to the Products & Apps page

  3. He can click on the Confirm CTA to complete the transaction.

In this case, we will click on the Confirm CTA.

Dale is now signed up for Apple Music. He can repeat the process with someone else on his account or he go can to the Manage Your Products & Apps page. In this case, we will proceed to the next page.

On the Manage Your Products & Apps page, the account owner is able to manage Apple Music for all members.

This is the mobile web experience to sign up for Apple Music. It works very similar to the desktop version.
